Burbank Sunrise was please to present Brighton Thomas with a Vocational Grant. The grant was funded with a combination of district and club funds. Brighton is a graduate of John Burroughs HS. She is attending the Musicians Institute in Hollywood where she is studying Audio Engineering and Studio Recording. Some of her highlights include being awarded the title of Ambassador for Michael Feinstein’s Songbook Academy, being a Grand Prize Finalist for the Music Center Spotlight Program, performing at the Pantages Theatre, and singing at the Disney Concert Hall! Due to COVID, we were not able to present her check in person but we were able to speak with her at one of our Zoom meetings where she thanked our club and told us how much it meant to her to be awarded the scholarship. We wish her success in her future aspirations!
